From the initial inspection of core components right through to the comprehensive calibration and testing of the complete machine prior to dispatch, we apply rigorous standards at every stage. Using high-end imported testing equipment and standardised procedures, we lay a solid foundation of precision for every EDM machine, ensuring that customers can use it immediately upon receipt, operate it with confidence, and enjoy long-term reliability, without any concerns regarding precision or quality.

I. Full-Process Calibration with Laser Interferometers: Precision Guaranteed from Factory to Operation

Before leaving the factory, every wire-cut EDM machine must undergo rigorous full-process precision testing and calibration using laser interferometers, followed by a week of continuous testing. This constitutes our first and most critical safeguard for machine precision, ensuring the CNC EDM quipment operates stably and reliably at the customer’s site.

The laser interferometer is the ‘gold standard’ for wire cut edm machine tool accuracy calibration. We conduct tests on multiple core metrics, including full-travel positioning accuracy, parallelism, and straightness: Through the reciprocating motion of the laser interferometer, we precisely measure the actual positioning data of each axis, obtaining key parameters such as backlash and positioning deviation. These data are then written into the wire cutting EDM machine’s system to update and calibrate the compensation parameters, ensuring that the positioning accuracy and repeatability of every machine fully comply with factory standards. This fundamentally meets the requirements for high-precision machining and long-term stable operation on-site.

More importantly, EDM machine tools calibrated using our laser interferometer maintain their precision over the long term during daily use, eliminating the need for frequent recalibration. End customers can start production immediately upon taking delivery, without incurring additional time or costs for precision debugging, making product promotion easier and transaction conversions smoother. Furthermore, when precision naturally deteriorates after prolonged use, the laser interferometer can be used to re-measure and update compensation parameters, effortlessly restoring factory-level precision and safeguarding the CNC wire EDM machine tool’s entire lifecycle.

II. Zeiss CMM: Controlling every aspect of precision right from the source of the components

The overall precision of a machine tool begins with the machining accuracy of each core component. To eliminate potential precision issues at the source, we import Zeiss coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) to perform 100% inspection on all critical components; non-conforming parts are never allowed to enter the assembly stage.

Core components that determine edm wire cutting machine accuracy—such as bearing housings, motor bases, columns, bed bodies, saddle blocks and worktables—are all inspected using Zeiss CMMs. We conduct precise measurements of key geometric tolerances for each component, including parallelism, perpendicularity and concentricity. Only when all test results are within 0.01 mm are components permitted to proceed to the assembly stage.
