The CNC Cutting EDM consists of four main components, namely the host, CNC device, driving device, and auxiliary device. These components collaborate to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of the CNC Cutting EDM in performing various processing tasks.
1. In terms of structure, the host is considered as the primary component of CNC Cutting EDM. It encompasses the machine tool body, column, spindle, feed mechanism, and other mechanical parts that are utilized for diverse cutting operations.
2. The CNC device serves as the central element in CNC Cutting EDM. It comprises both hardware (such as printed circuit boards, CRT displays) and corresponding software that facilitate inputting digital part programs while ensuring information storage and data processing capabilities along with control functions.
3. The driving device includes essential elements like the main shaft motor and its control system as well as feed servo motor and its control system. Its responsibility lies in executing instructions provided by the numerical control device to drive various actions performed by the machine tool.
4. The auxiliary device incorporates automatic chip removal parts, automatic tool setting parts, cooling systems along with lubrication systems to guarantee smooth operation and high-quality processing outcomes for the machine tool.
Additionally, the mechanical structure of CNC Cutting EDM can be further divided into three main sections.
- Main transmission system responsible for spindle movement;
- Feed transmission system accountable for workbench movement;
- Auxiliary devices providing necessary support functions such as automatic tool change or cooling mechanisms.
